David A. Marchiori, Executive Producer

David Marchiori founded and serves as CEO of Westar International, an investment firm that specializes in the motion picture industry. David has served as Executive Producer for three films and has several film projects in various development stages.

Marchiori is a highly creative, tech savvy, business executive with over 20 years experience in the management of diverse companies and investments. In the late 1990's, David was President of MCI Direct, the international small business division for telecom giant, MCI. Prior to MCI, he was founder and CEO of PST, Inc., a telecom provider of voice and data services that was recognized in 1994 as The Colorado Company of the Year by The Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI). The Denver Business Journal also ranked PST, Inc. as one of the state’s 100 Largest Privately Held Companies.

David is active in the Denver philanthropic community, advocating for underprivileged and/or abused youth. He holds a black belt in karate and earned a bachelors degree in Marketing from Michigan State University.



Mark Steven Grove, Director

Mark Steven Grove has had a long and colorful career in action and suspense films. Prior to taking up directing, Mark Steven Grove served as actor, stunt and fight choreographer, special FX supervisor, firearms handler, and action coordinator on films such as Mad Love (Drew Barrymore, Chris O'Donnell), 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (Hulk Hogan, Loni Anderson, Jim Varney, Victor Wong), Lonely Road, Fatal Revenge, Warrior River, The Hunted (Christopher Lambert), and Highlander - The Series (Adrian Paul). He has also coordinated television shows for March of Dimes and the Discovery Channel.

Mark's directoral debut was with Dragon and the Hawk (Julian Lee, Barbara Gehring, Trygve Lode) filmed in Denver. He has been involved in several other well-known local projects including My Samurai (Julian Lee, Bubba Smith, Mako), Spotless (Bill LeVasseur, Jason Coviello), and Tiger Street (Julian Lee, Christophe Clark).

This summer Mark has been alternating between directing The Shadow Walkers, and coordinating stunts and being dragged behind cars for another film in production in Colorado, The Sensei.



Art Thomas, Co-Producer

In addition to his support of The Shadow Walkers, Art is vice president of program development and acquisition for CoLours TV, (http://www.colourstv.org). He has a master’s degree in International Marketing from Notre Dame de Namur University. Art has worked in over 24 countries including the 2004 Cannes Film Festival in France where he helped to promote the documentary film, 'Earthlings'.

His other producer credits include, The Champagne Chef (TV series), 'Bed of Dreams' (pilot), 'Fifty-Fifty'(short) which has been featured in both the Alaska and Motor City International Film Festivals, Fit-Hop (pilot), American Children's Dental Clinic, (TV commercial), 'My Future Depends On You', (national voting public service announcement) and 'Tiffany at Breakfast', (short). He is currently in development on other projects.



Carie Grant, Co-Producer

Carie Grant's initial business background was primarily based in accounting and finance, but a love of movies and script-writing led her to her current role as co-producer. She has co-produced two films prior to her work on The Shadow Walkers, including Chick Flick: The Miracle Mike Story (a four-time sellout at the Starz International Film Festival) and Earthlings: Ugly Bags of Mostly Water (voted Best Local Film, Westword Magazine 2004).



Annie Schlax, Line Producer

Annie Schlax has over twenty years of experience as a producer and production manager for television and film. She has produced projects in Los Angeles, Illinois and Colorado. Her credits include rock videos, independent feature films, educational, and industrial videos. She has also produced commercials and animated projects. In addition to her freelance producing, Schlax has taught film production management for the University of Colorado at Denver and for Red Rocks Community College’s film school.



Jason Coviello ("Reeve")

Jason Coviello's passion for acting has propelled him into a prolific start to his career. He booked his first role in an independent feature in September of 2000. As of July 2005, he has appeared in over 40 independent features and shorts, with a few more on their way before the end of the year.

In May of 2002, Coviello met Mark Steven Grove and the Asgard Entertainment stunt team. He has been training with them since.



Jennifer Summers ("Julie")

Jennifer Summers can trace her days on stage to third grade when she started traveling with a competitive rope skipping team performing routines and tricks to hundreds of elementary and middle aged kids. In High school she truly fell in love with the theatre when she joined a traveling performing arts troupe called Jubilation. She then went on to pursue a theatre arts degree at Benedictine College. After graduating in 1999, Jennifer took a few years off from acting to be a ski bum in Aspen. Returning to Denver in 2002 to pursue her acting full time, she started studying with Brian McCulley at Front Range Acting Studio. Over the past two years she has been involved in various student projects, but The Shadow Walkers is her first feature length film.



Trygve Lode ("Lead Shadow Walker")

Before getting into acting, Trygve Lode's experience ranged from high-energy physics to telecommunications systems simulation and design. His feature film debut was as the villain Therion in Dragon and the Hawk ("one of the creepiest, most original villians I've seen in quite a while" - A. J. Vestal). Since then he has appeared in numerous shorts, played the Viking Chieftan for the Smithsonian Instution's Viking Exhibit, and appeared as the "Evil Santa" on stage in "Hell of a Holiday."
